On Sunday, January 27, Richmond Rainbow Pride's Board organized a day-long retreat with the purpose of planning the year and envisioning our future as an organization. Councilman Melvin Willis joined us at lunchtime to discuss policy and LGBTQI community issues. We were accompanied by member Erin Singer, who participated in the membership portion of the retreat. One of the most important outcomes of the day was that we were able to generate a short list of possible themes for our Pride Event in June!
